The FP Helia 44 has been a large component of bareboat charter programs. FP makes comfortable boats that perform well under sail and this is no exception. There are comfortable seating areas, including a sunpad near the helm.
The Helia does have some sharp corners in the interior that can catch you when things are unstable. FP also uses an interesting helm layout that separates the winches from the steering area. This makes the yacht more difficult to single-hand but also makes it easier for two people to work together without being in each other's way. Some love it and other, less so.
The FP Helia 44 came out in 2012 and has been replaced by the FP Elba 45 starting 2019/2020.
